Position: Intern – Visa and Consular Department

The Royal Danish Embassy is looking for two interns with an understanding of working in an
intercultural environment with tasks involving a sense of detail and regulation.

Job Description
You will be responsible for:
Visa handling;
Assistance to Danish citizens;
Ad hoc assignments
Time frame: Demands 20 hours per week, initially for 3 months (working hours will be planned
with the selected candidates)
Salary: Monthly salary of 2000 RMB.
Preferred Qualifications
The job is open for applicants who currently study at a university. We prefer you to have the
following qualifications:
Excellent command in English both in writing and speaking;
Studies related to public administration, international studies or languages;
Good analytical and communication skills;
Attention to detail and a structured approach to assignments;
Positive attitude to new tasks and team spirit

About us
The visa department issues more than 10,000 visa per year to Chinese going to Denmark and
Schengen. A great part of the visa applicants travel in the summer season and this is the
busiest season of the year. We have both Danes and Chinese employed in the department.
