As everyone knows, made in Germany usually means high quality, durableand reliable products. Germany is good at machine manufacturing, especially onprecise instruments. For the reason, we know that Germans are very strict, theymaster core technologies, more over they emphasis on vocational education,which is important for them to make the potential productivity of science andtechnology into practical productive forces. But why German can get such strictcharacter in their culture? Recently, I got an opportunity to discuss with aGerman friend on this topic, why German quality is so good? The German friendreplied, “Maybe we think that if we do not make products in very high quality,no people in other countries would like to buy German products after the SecondWorld War.” The answer is unexpected to me. Yes, the strong self-esteem andself-confidence of German nation enable them to get the great achievementtoday.
Look back to us, made in China is not the synonym to cheap and lowquality at the very beginning. In early years of new China, our product havevery good quality, even in such weak industry base at that time, because allthe people have lofty ideal and belief in our new country. But ideologicalconservation had hindered the development of economy. In order to resolve thissituation, comrade Deng Xiaoping put forward the famous theory, it doesn'tmatter whether the cat is black or white, as long as it catches mice, and allowsome people to become rich first drive more common prosperity, which enormouslyliberated the productive forces. But some people misinterpreted Xiaoping’sword, resort to any means to achieve the goal, even it is evil. The moral bottomline was crossed. Shoddy, fake, food safety, environmental pollution and otherproblems are getting worse.
China is undergoing profound and comprehensive changes, the most urgentand difficult change is the social climate of fickle and seeking quick successand instant benefits, which is formed after reform and opening to the outsideworld of China. Our president Xi Jinping deeply realized the importance ofrecreating the nation faith. He deeply planted the China dream into the heartof all Chinese people, and blow a fresh air to the whole society.
During the visit to Germany this March, president Xi proposed to combinethe “German quality” and “China speed” to create greater success of the twocountries. I think this combination is not only in the technical level, becauseadvanced technology will not fully effect without serious attitude. We shouldpay more attention to learn and establish the self-esteem and self-confidenceof the nation, faith and dream of the people.
China dream is agreat big dream, it is composed by many many personal small dreams. To make it cometrue, we should start from our daily work and study. You can’t travel athousand miles if you don't take a step forward. As a distributor or agency ofmany famous scientific instruments manufactures all over the world, we have committed to introduce the most developed scientificinstruments to Chinese scientists. We dobelieve that the good products and service will lead us to a brilliant future,as well as long-term developing. We would like to try our best to boost theagricultural and environmental development of China. For our betterenvironment, better life and better future!
